And at first there was no answer. I thought may be we’d been cut off, but then I could hear these whimpering sounds and half words - like she couldn’t catch her breath.

 

JANET

(barely audible whisper)

I don’t want to hear the rest.

 

Janet stops Harvey from speaking further and returns to the sink.
